I agree with you. The church my mother attends is Non-Denomination a Cathedral something another. :smirk: They are their own entity, where their pastor/bishop and their governing body governs the operations of that church. They are not part of any associations/conventions.

BTW, did anyone see JB on BETs Exalted? It airs again Sunday @ Noon and Sunday night 9ET. Interesting to see her "transformation".

Totally agree. And I missed Exalted last night, but I will watch the repeat Sunday. I know first hand that JB went through many makeovers. Let's just say, it looks like she's done much more than lipo.

I'll try to watch the Sunday noon broadcast since at night interrupts Desperate Housewives.

Just a question: Do you feel Non-denomination is a denomination?

To me, Non-Denom is not Baptist, COGIC, Methodist, etc. but it is a denomination.

Just curious to know y'alls views on the matter.

No, I do not.

Non-denomination is simply a church that does not adhere to specific rote religious practices for the sake of doing so. Nor are they accountable to a regional or national religious leadership for certain aspects of their church operations.

But no, it is not its own religion, nor is that its intention to be one.

i may have to look at that. if for no other reason, to see pix of that million dollar wedding:eek: wouldn't it be crazy if they were still paying for it especially now:rolleyes:
as for my anti-non-denom. stance, in my new area, a well-known Baptist church was building a new church. before the church was to move into the new building, the pastor was found to have had an affair w/an also married church member and had to stand down. what does the church do then? go non-denom. i'm sure at the behest of the pastor who i'm sure is back in the pulpit.
that said to me, "we/i don't need no stinkin' rules...":(

This problem is not exclusive to non-denominational churches. In all cases it is a matter of following the rules that are established--religious decrees and operational rules.

And following a specific religious decree does not preclude some churches of that denomination from not following the FISCAL rules that create checks and balances.

hahahahahaha.... lipstick lezzie...

I heard her husband was having a $10 divorce sale...

DSTKellie 10-07-2007 07:03 PM

I agree with the comments. However, I found it more ironic that when she was down on her luck she went to the church to get "money" and not prayer. It seems like she plays on the emotions of people so she can get money. She knows how to pimp the church cause when we are emotional then we give money.

Is anybody going to comment on her "brother"...? just asking

Her roommate....hmmm
