I just found this thread and came over to join the support group. I may be older than everyone here, but I love the show! I pretty much agree with everything said so far about TNG. I never had the pleasure of watching the old Degrassi shows. :( Oh well. TNG does just fine for me.

I went to the Noggin website and looked at the Degrassi episode listing. "Accidents Will Happen" is not listed. :( Therefore, I will have to download it. I really want to see it. I don't like how Manny became a ho. The visible underwear thing was a hot mess.

The season finale was kind of lame. I expected more. I hope that next season gets better. The Sean-Ellie relationship is not cool to me. Sean is creepy. I also agree that Liberty needs to get a life. She doesn't have to be so annoying. I hate that they are making her character like that. I mean, I guess it's realistic because there are people like her and Manny in schools everywhere, but come on! Liberty needs to grow up.

I want to see a TNG marathon because I haven't seen all the episodes. I want to see the show from the beginning so that I can feel totally connected.

that's the truth! most of the characters have moved on, and shes still the PNA (pain in the @ss, for those who dont know) of the show. she's nerdy in a bad way. and it doesnt look like she's aged with the other characters. lose the baby fat, but keep the funky glasses. do something. emma looks weird. paige is u-g-l-y! and ashley needs to get a grip. kudos for marco coming out, but plz dont make him the token gay guy of the show.

more kudos for terri's plus-sized character. she needs more lines in the show, but not as a battered teen from a loser bf. come on!

Degrassi is always good fodder with my 7th grade students... except when i have to cut off their printing priveleges for cassie steele pics!

and id also like to see the old Degrassi series...like how saved by the bell had their series from jhs (my favorites!) all the way to the (dismal, corny as hell, shortlived) college years. and who could forget the SBTB movies?

When is Terri going to get out of the hospital? Did I miss her release? If not, again I ask, when is she going to get out of the hospital? How long are they going to drag that out?

i wonder if they will even show that since she's not listed in the cast for next season.

I don't know what she's supposed to be out of the hospital but I heard she's not going to be a regular next season. Supposedly, after her "accident" with Rick, she's going to move away b/c her dad doesn't want anything else to happenwith Rick around. So she'll be back to do guest appearances on special occasions to visit her old frineds.

Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High are available on VHS on Amazon, but they aren't cheap. Also, there's a listing on eBay for Degrassi Junior High

I just saw it last night, and I agree with you guys... it was disappointing. I'm also pi$$ed that they aren't going to show "Accidents Will Happen." And I was looking on www.the-n.com at the episode list... Did anyone else notice that this season was way shorter than any of the previous ones?

I agree, the season was super short. They made such a huge deal about it and it didn't live up to it. It would've been better if they showed "accidents will happen" b/c the rest of the episodes would have made sense.
The new season starts in October, let's hope it'll be better.

There's a Degrassi Season 1 DVD to be released soon, according to Amazon, but it doesn't say if it's Degrassi Jr. High, Degrassi High, or new Degrassi.

I'm holding out hope for one of the earlier shows. :D

I know there's a Season 1 DVD coming out in September for the new generation. I checked for it (can't remember the website) but it was too pricey, especially for degrassi.

The season started a couple of weeks ago up here - so far it looks pretty good.

So did anyone watch? What did you think?

I thought it was a really good episode. It's probably one of my favorite ones. I liked how it was realistic and showed that things don't always end perfectly.
