NervousNellie, I think the best thing you can ask her is "Would you rather accept a bid to your 2nd option or not in a sorority at all?" because that might be her choices....
|
She said none at all. I need to respect her wishes. It is her life, not mine! She feels quite secure with her first house, but I know that NOTHING can be counted on. I think she is aware of this as well. I do respect the fact that she does not want to join a house just to be Greek, and is willing to wait for next year if it doesn't happen. I gave her a nest, she has her own wings and choices. I just hope it all works out.

You have a really good attitude, NervousNellie! I'll wish good things for your little bird.

Good Luck nervousnellie to you and your daughter. |
She listed both houses! Feeling better already!

GC members, thank you for talking a nervous mom off the ledge. I feel so much better. This is a very kind group!
|
Good luck to her!

Funny. Not everyone who comes on here finds us too friendly :) Of course, they generally are asking for us to blow sunshine up their skirts and homey don't play that.
|
nervousnellie,
When your daughter is welcomed with open arms by her new sisters and sees how thrilled they are to have her I hope she will be looking forward to wonderful times ahead. Bid Day is an exciting time. Best wishes as she begins her college journey at Alabama. |
looking forward Nervousnellie to your post on bid day.....
|
