You hush. As it stands right now, UM will stomp all over OSU THIS YEAR. Give them another few years to rebuild under Urban Meyer when he comes on, and we'll see ;)

From your lips to God's ears. Although if he left Florida due to needing a change after years of unrelenting pressure, I can't see how it would be any different at OSU. i do have some sympathy for the situation that Coach Fickell was thrown into. Don't know how many coaches (let alone newbie head coaches) could keep their heads above water with this mess-suspensions, graduations of key players, possible NCAA sanctions. That being said, also wouldn't mind Bo Pelini (HC of Nebraska) coming home and coaching at his alma mater if urban decides that life is just too good as a college football analyst.

Ehh, maybe when all of the suspended players are back, they might be better.

I will never forgive Cal if LaMichael James is badly injured.

I say badly because what football player isn't in some sort of pain after a game?

Yeah, I hope we didn't just win the battle but lose the war. Husband says if it is just a dislocated elbow he should be fine - hoping for the best for him.

As far as the game goes - got a call from daughter at 1/2 time saying it wasn't looking good, and I spent the next hour and a 1/2 feeling sick. Thank heavens Chip Kelley is good at half time adjustments.

Here is a video of LMJ post game:http://espn.go.com/blog/pac12/post/_...ames-on-injury

He sounds pretty happy and is only in a sling. The x-rays came back negative. Sounds like a dislocated elbow.

Ditto to the second part. We had to record the game and watch it after. Terrified me.

Whew!!! Thank you for the video.

On a side note and from a long term career perspective - I always think its a bit sad that he's such an articulate kid, but not much in the looks department while Darren Thomas is such a cutie, but not terribly articulate. If you could meld them somehow, you would have one heck of a sports analyst/announcer when the football career is done (recognizing that they both may have completely different life goals :)).

6-0???!! WHAT?!!

Although this has been a "cupcake" of a schedule, as my fiance called it. The real games start next week. I'm nervous.

When I go to the game next week, while I'm there, I'll be thinking of a really good siggy for you. Something very, very MSUish. lol :p

Head Coach Mike Stoops has just been fired as the head coach at the University of Arizona. He will be replaced by defensive coordinator Tim Kish for the rest of the season.

I really hope they broadcast the State/U of M game this weekend out by me. I hate following the games online this year :(
