How do you make all these letters? Not the painting part obviously, but literally the letters? Do you order them from a company (if so, where?)?
Are they made out of a type of wood or a thick cardboard?

I want to make some! haha

Those KD letter are awesome! Lilly Pulitzer prints always catch my eye/

These are both from our Epsilon Zeta (Southern Arkanasas) chapter's 25th anniversary celebration.

I'm pretty sure I've posted 3 other sets of letters from Epsilon Zeta in this thread. I don't know where they find the time/energy to make these!

they are made out of wood, have no idea how though haha! i know ours were done by one of our member's fathers, and I think they used the stencil from our old ones that broke.

also, i suggest using a type of wood that isn't terribly heavy. we (and most groups i think) take them with us at all greek events like greek week and some philanthropies, and i know other sororities complain about their letters being so super heavy

thanks so much katydidKD! I like the "small" ones that are probably only about 3 or 4 feet; the handheld ones. they're super cute and work well if you don't have much storage space haha

I love ULM's red and white AOII letters from 2010 Bid Day, but that's probably because I'm biased because those were the ones used for my bid day plus I'm in the picture. Oh the memories...

Somebody please clue me in...are these letters all hand-painted? They look AMAZING!!! The AOPi letters are incredible...I especially love the red/white ones. Is there an easy way of transferring these images onto the letters, or do people just freehand them? Thanks for any insight!
