My chapter at UN-Omaha is small and used to use rotation/bump groups. We'd start with groups of about 3-4 sisters, keeping out the Recruitment chair and President and 1-2 other 'rotation starters'. The first starter would wait about 5-10 minutes into the event, then introduce themselves into a group, another sister would excuse herself and move to the next group, and so on.
A few minutes later, a second starter would go into the first group, bumping yet another girl into the next group. That way the PNM would meet 3-4 new people during the party, with one sister always staying put for consistency and to handle introductions, etc.
The next night, the bump groups would change slightly so the PNMs got to meet a whole new set of women.
