Aphi Gal,

Not the La Paloma, but close! I got married at the Sheraton El Conquistador. We looked at La Paloma, but all the ballrooms were huge, and our wedding was small (120 ppl). So instead, we rented out a restaurant at the El Conquistador, which fit our reception perfectly. We had cocktails and appetizers on the balcony, and dinner and dancing in the restaurant. Wonderful memories.

But, my parents live about a mile northeast of La Paloma, and it is awfully lovely there.

Thank you for the compliments. I love weddings too, but I will never plan one again. It was the most insane experience of my life. We actually had quite a few people that were supposed to fly in and couldn't make it because it was Sept 15, so we have a couple of albums on the internet for those who couldn't make it.
