Does your chapter there have an "A Section" and a "B section"?

What does A and B lettering mean? Designations of house section?

I hung out with some of our "B" Section colonists at our last national convention. The A Section had been in continuous operation since (I think) the 70's.
At Kettering, the way I understand it, there are really two student bodies -- it's an engineering school from what I understand. Each semester, they alternate between working in the field and studying at school. Therefore, the two student bodies are called "A section" and "B section".
It's also my understanding that while these people occupy the same house in alternating semesters, many will never see their A or B counterparts.
That's what I remember anyhow.

Yeah that is pretty much that impression that I got from them at our regional conference. I cant believe what it would be like to have a chapter like that, but I guess it works there, I mean i think the percentage of greeks there is above 80%
