Quota was 55. I haven't heard many specifics (too busy with our own Bid Day) but its safe to say the vast majority of houses pledged quota.

Pi Phi Florida Delta has 57 new baby Betas!

Are Pi Phi's fairly new at U of F? I don't remember them being there in the 80's when I was there.

Pi Phi was chartered at UF in 1969.

Pi Phi left campus for a few years, and recolonized at some point in the 80's. I don't remember the exact years though...

ETA: I found the dates. The chapter closed in 1977, and recolonized in 1984. http://web.archive.org/web/200202080...i/history.html

Recolonization was in 1985. The FSU chapter helped with rush and stayed in close contact with a lot of the Florida Delta members.

Congrats on a great pledge class, UFPiPhi!

A little sister of a friend of mine is a new Alpha Delta Pi at UF! Her older sister is an alum of Alpha Gamma Delta at Georgia Tech and her other older sister is an alum of Tri-Delt at Clemson! Also, one of her "Alpha" sisters is the little sister of a mutual friend of both of ours who is Chi Omega alum from Furman. Small world!

I'm starting to wish I could be a UF Pi Phi. I park across the street from their beautiful house everyday -- it is so pretty! The only glimpse I got of UF recruitment was the tent outside Pi Phi! (their house is located on fraternity row across from my classes) I had talked to the ADPi recruitment adviser about helping out last week, but my school work has already buried me!

Funny observation of fraternity row-- Sigma Nu has the Greek Letters for Sigma and Nu on their house. They're lined up right next to a circular-shaped window that is about the same size at the letters. It looks like it spells out "SNO"
