Greek to chic

Has anyone else seen this? It's a show CBS has put together specifically for their website. I think it's pretty stupid and it's got an awful lot of advertising....

Wow. That's the most obviously staged show EVER :-/ (I watched episode 4 with the Theta Xi guys).

It seems like the CBS producers have no respect for the Greek system - in the episode I watched, they made fun of the house designation numbers (IE Alpha Nu (though they spelled it NEW..) 1000). I'm friends with the TX men on my campus, and their numbers are important to them - not something to mock. And if you're going to be doing a show (crappy as it may be) about greeks, at least spell Nu correctly.

And what is this, a giant ad for Dr. Pepper, Pier One, and whatever that website they talked about is?

WOW. That show is awful! Did Theta Xi's nationals actually know that there's a cheesy internet show that deemed them the "nerd frat?"

After seeing episode 4--no more! The girls they brought in were awful, too--I liked the long hair!

My favorite part about it was the fact they were playing Beer Pong with Dr. Pepper. Talk about the most pointless/worthless game ever.

Dang, talk about boring. The whole point of beer pong is by about the 4th round, the cups start moving ever so slightly on you.

ETA: If they're going to be girly, they can at least play with wine coolers.

In drinking games, the point is never to win. It's to drink and get drunk.

You also want to avoid getting shut out (skunked) and having to do a "fun run" around frat row.

Hmm don't know about all that. At Chico State, it's mostly just about the drinking.
