I am a direct legacy. My sister was a Zeta Tau Alpha at the same school that I went to. She was a big factor in my decision to join ZTA. And it was fun to be in the same sorority, at the same time with her.

I am a direct legacy to KKG, from my sister. However during rush they dropped me and my other friend who is also a KKG legacy from her sister the day before pref night. So I went Pi Phi!

AEPhi legacy here! Hey ZTAngel, do you know which school your Aunt pledged at? Also, I am at UCF, now, too! (For grad school)

I am a Kappa Kappa Gamma legacy--mom, sister, grandma were KKG's.

I am also a PiPhi legacy--well I'm not sure if I am or not--but my aunt was a PiPhi. Anyone know if that counts?

Bubbles--I wish it did! But Pi Phi counts grandmothers, moms, and sisters only.

My aunt pledged at the University of Florida back in the 70's.

Hi bubbles,

I can't speak for the other NPC sororities, but an Alpha Gamma Delta legacy can be a sister, daughter, STEPDAUGHTER!, or granddaughter of an initiated AGD.

In my chapter a cousin of one of the sisters was initiated, and though cousin status isn't officially recognized as a legacy, we still thought that it was really special to see one of her family members be initiated into our sisterhood!

Bubbles--

I guess that someone from each different sorority might know! Maybe some sororities even give each chapter some leeway. My daughter's 2 cousins were AOPis and when she pledged, the chapter told her that she'd been considered a legacy!
