Erica is totally correct in what she says. I suggest practicing talking to people you don't know over the summer as well, even if it's the check out person at the supermarket or the person behind the desk at the library. I am a very shy and quiet person, but I've found when I'm more in the habit of talking to people I don't know, I do much better. Good luck!
