Situation- a female is seriously dating a guy. They spend a lot of time together. But this particular night that they share, he turned his phone off. The female checked his phone to see if he had a lot of missed calls the next day, and he has tons from multiple women. They all called at different times of the night (from 10 PM-after 1 AM).

Question

Is he cheating?

The answer has to do with genetics. Every cat has 38 pairs of chromosomes; half of the pairs are from the mother, the other half is from the father. Within every chromosome there are thousands of different genes.

Every female cat receives one X chromosome from her mother and one X chromosome from her father, while a male receives one X chromosome from his mother and one Y chromosome from his father. Within the X chromosome is a gene for coat color.

In calicos and tortoiseshells, one X has the black gene; the other X has the orange gene. White coat color is associated with a completely separate gene.

At conception, the kitten is a one-celled organism, which divides until there are millions of cells that make up the final kitten. Each time a cell divides, it passes on its genetic material.

Gene Inactivation

For the sex chromosomes, there is a battle for power. This is especially true for the X chromosome. If two X chromosomes are present, which determines female sex, one X chromosome will become inactivated at some point in fetal development. When this happens, all the cells descended from the activated X chromosome will have the same characteristics, including coat color.

In calicos, if the X-chromosome that is left functioning carries the orange gene, then all the cells descended from it will result in an orange color. The same is true if the functioning X chromosome has the black gene. If both X-chromosomes carry the same color gene, then the calico pattern will not appear.

Since X chromosomes inactivate at various times in each individual cat, color patches vary.

The story is different for male cats. Males have only one X chromosome, and it is never inactivated. Whatever color gene is present on this X chromosome will determine the color of the cat. Males can be calico or tortoiseshell only if they are born with 2 X-chromosomes and a Y (XXY), allowing one X to be inactivated. This genetic defect (XXY) is very rare.

Well my first question is: Is the man seriously dating the woman?

Spending time together does not equal a relationship.

Without any type of commitment how can it be considered cheating.

Tell the "female" to stop checking the phone and ask the guy straight up if they are in an exclusive relationship.

If so then she needs to rely on her feelings and not her findings as far as how she should proceed.

If not she needs to chill and let it ride.

I hope that answered your question. If you have any follow up questions please let me know.

Well I can only assume it went down like that for two reasons.

1) Poor Management: MG could have certainly sent an e-mail or provided more of a notice when the switch to paid accounts was coming. I'm sure many people would have signed up for a mailing list or even paid ad we had some prior notice.

2) Hurt Feelings: People on MG talked mad cash sh!t about having to pay for MG when other sites were free. I may have flipped out too if I had read some of the things that people were saying about having to pay.

I sincerely doubt it. In retrospect, for my surfing style and mood MegaGreek was the perfect fit. The community that was there was awesome. If they could have found a way to keep it free it I probably wouldn't be here on GC. I truly enjoyed the conversations I participated in over there. Even with my group I still haven't found an MG fix. These are some of the greek sites I visit, other than GC, when on the net:

Greek Peeps: I love my community it's the closest that you'll find to the old MegaGreek feel.

KAZODIASS: Great site but it's not for the faint of heart

Simply Greek: After a "Fresh Start" it's growing again. It's still developing it's personality so worthwhile conversations are touch and go.

If you are looking for your MegaGreek Peeps they can be found in several places.

DA_MOTHERSHIP an MSN Group started by Situatione9

THE GREEK ASYLUM an MSN Group started by _AUTH3NTIC1913_

Da View a ProBoards forum started by PornStar

I used to be on MegaGreek! a Xanga Blog Ring started by ambboogie1920

That's hard to determine. I feel its safe to say that it will be a while before anyone can truly fill that void. Other artists and groups will share in the limelight that Phish has. Especially since they went out on a high note instead of retiring as most do with a stuggling album.

Not being an authority on Jam Bands I believe that you'd see an well established artist or group emerge and then a smaller group will come out of now where and be a huge success.

I hope that answered your question. If you have any follow up questions please let me know.
